Originally located on the balaustrade close to the Casino dei Principi, this modern marble bust can be attributed to the school of Cavaceppi for stylistic and technical reasons (tiny drilled holes).
The figure wears scaled armour over a tunic and a paludamentum, which is fastened on the right shoulder by a round leather stud.

The staircase leads to an antechamber that opens onto the large loggia on the pronaos. It has ceilings decorated by Decio Trabalza of Dawn, Day and Night.
