Mirko nel tempo e nel mito
A representative selection of paintings, sculptures and drawings by Mirko Basaldella
Though Mirko Basaldella is popular as a sculptor, actually he was more complex artist, an excellent draftsman and a painter.
For the centenary of his birth (September 28, 1910), the exhibition Mirko nel tempo e nel mito (Mirko in time and myth) aims to celebrate the anniversary presenting a remarkable collectionworks: about forty paintings and sculptures and more than fifty drawings.
The exhibition is curated by Arnaldo Romani Brizzi and Alberto Mazzacchera, and is promoted by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Roma Capital and the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
