In nome della rosa. La rosa tra liberty e déco, simbolismi e geometrie nelle arti applicate del primo novecento
The Name of the Rose: The rose between the Liberty and Art Deco periods, symbolism and geometry in the applied arts of the early twentieth century.
The almost 40 works on display document the presence of the rose, its iconography and its fortune in the applied arts of early twentieth century.
On display are ceramics, porcelains, glass and bronze vessels, furniture, coral jewellery, gold and ivory, preparatory glasses and cartoons, mostly from private collections, but also by major institutions such as the Richard-Ginori Porcelain Museum in Doccia or the Stibbert Museum in Florence.
