Access for visitors with reduced mobility
The Museums of Villa Torlonia are accessible.
From the main entrance to the Villa, in via Nomentana 70, a series of small gravelled walkways start gradually climbing and lead to the various buildings. Vehicles with a disability badge have access to the Villa from the entrance on via Nomentana 70 to reach the Museums, and may also park there. Access is recommended from the entrance in via Siracusa to visit the Serra Moresca.

CASINO NOBILE
The itinerary starts from the entrance in via Nomentana, 70, then take viale Guglielmo Petroni, turn right on viale Ferruccio Scaglia and finally turn right towards the Casino Nobile.
The building is accessed via a ramp located to the right of the entrance, i.e. at the exit of the bookshop. The ramp has a step of a few centimetres.
One wheelchair is available in this building: ask the custodian or the ticket office.
The first and second floors, where the Museo della Scuola Romana is located, can be reached by a standard-size lift, with a door opening of 100 cm, a depth of 120 cm and a load capacity of 450 kg.
The equipped bathroom is located on the second floor, in the Museo della Scuola Romana, before the rooms of the Ingrao Guina Collection.
CASINA DELLE CIVETTE
The route starts from the entrance in via Nomentana, 70, then take viale Tiziano Terzani and continue until outside the gate of the enclosure, then it is possible to continue only in a wheelchair, paying attention to the slight difference in level between the path and the paved area.
On the left is the temporary exhibition room of the Dipendenza, the entrance being approximately 5 cm wide.
Entrance to the Museum is through a dedicated entrance (to the left of the main entrance) with a step of about 3cm. Please ask the caretaker to open the access door, which is 75 cm wide.
One wheelchair is available in this building: please ask at the staff or at the ticket counter.
Level 1 is accessible via a lift located inside the Sala del Chiodo. It has an opening of 73 cm, a depth of 106 cm and a load capacity of 250 kg. Activation must be requested from the caretaker.
The garden in the enclosure of the Casina delle Civette is paved and has direct access.
The equipped bathroom is on the ground floor: turn right after the attendants' station.
CASINO DEI PRINCIPI
The route to the Archivio e Biblioteca della Scuola Romana (level -1 of the building) starts from the entrance in via Nomentana, 70 and continues along viale Sergio Lenci, then turns right down the hill before the building. The Exhibition Rooms (levels 0 and 1) are not accessible from this level. Access to the Exhibition Halls on level 0 is via a dedicated entrance reached by a ramp (west side of the building, left of the main entrance). Once up the ramp, ring the door bell, which has an opening width of 86 cm.
Access to the Exhibition Rooms on level 1 is by means of a standard-size goods lift with an opening width of 80 cm, a depth of 104 cm and a load capacity of 250 kg. Activation must be requested from the staff.
The equipped bathroom is located on the upper floor in front of the lift exit.
SERRA MORESCA
To reach this facility, we recommend entering the Villa from the via Siracusa entrance. From the Serra Moresca it is not possible to continue by car or by wheelchair to the other museums of the Villa, for which we recommend the entrance from via Nomentana 70.
The area inside the Serra Moresca is level and easily accessible, while to get to the Grotta it is necessary to exit the Serra Moresca and follow the external path in gravel.
To reach the teaching area, on the first floor of the hemicycle, use the freight elevator located in the passageway between the Serra and the Grotta. This lift has a load capacity of 300 kg, a depth of 124 cm and doors that open 73 cm. Activation must be requested from the custodial staff.
The equipped bathroom is located on the ground floor, near the entrance.
